Tragedy Strikes Tampa Bay.

Breaking News out of TMI Studios reports that Tampa Bay Rays star pitcher Curtis Smith has been injured for the season.

Curtis Smith was injured while riding his motorcycle in downtown Tampa. His injury will require surgery and weeks of rehabilitation. It is not known when or if he will return to the majors. And when he does how effective he will even be. This really hurts the Rays as they had high hopes for the playoffs this season. The injury could push the Rangers ahead of teh Rays and thus dooming them to watch the playoffs from home.
