There are rumblings around the league that the Angels franchise could be moved out of Anaheim & renamed.
Team owner Rudy Welch would only say that talks between the team & the city had reached an impasse.
Mayor Curt Pringle was adamant in his belief that the team will remain in Anaheim as their lease runs through 2021.

The most likely destinations appear to be Las Vegas, Arizona, Honolulu, Oklahoma City & Tacoma
though a source with knowledge of the situation said that a move to Arizona is all but assured.
